BIODIMAR is a technological platform of the University of Western Brittany, located in Brest and attached to the Marine Environmental Sciences Laboratory (LEMAR) UMR6539.

It belongs to the functional exploration axis of the BIOGENOUEST network of technological platforms in life and environmental sciences.

BIODIMAR's primary purpose is the valorization of bioactive natural substances of marine and terrestrial origin in the fields of health, cosmetology, nutraceuticals and biotechnology. BIODIMAR is a center of scientific expertise providing research services or collaborations for businesses and public research. The objective of the platform is to extract, purify and characterize marine biomolecules from its own collection (for example from marine organisms such as macroalgae, etc.), but also from private collections of marine organisms from atypical environments to which the platform has access thanks to exclusive partnerships.

BIODIMAR supplies, either to academic research laboratories or to industry (pharmaceutical, cosmetics, blue or green chemistry or even agri-food), fractions or pure molecules from marine organisms and presenting original biological activity.

We will provide you with the service form, the user charter, a confidentiality agreement and a quote. If the quote is accepted by the applicant, a service/collaboration contract is established.

The study is carried out and returned on the date indicated in the contract. The invoice is issued.
